2017
Company foundation
Psilkon was founded on October 4, 2017 by two best friends, Patrick Buberl and Philipp Metz.
Her vision was to build a company that offers technologically sustainable and high-quality solutions.
With their passion, in-depth expertise and clear focus on innovation, the aim was to set new standards and develop products that meet the highest demands.
2018
Series production of epidural syringe
Start of the first series production with syringe stoppers for an epidural syringe.
The focus here was on the new development of the sealing lips to ensure uniform and defined sliding friction and optimum operating forces.
2019
1. participation in CompaMed
Psilkon presented itself for the first time at CompaMed in Düsseldorf with its own exhibition stand.
This was an important step for future visibility and exchange with partners.
2020
Introduction PROVID protective mask
During the coronavirus pandemic, Psilkon developed its own protective mask to provide rapid assistance and local support.
A share of the proceeds was then donated to various institutions.
2021
Market entry India
With a large market and a promising future, we see great growth potential in India.
In 2021, the company successfully entered the market and launched its first series project for a major local customer.
Our local team in Delhi takes care of direct customer support and customized solutions.
2022
10 employees + expansion of management
By 2022, Psilkon has grown to 10 employees, which underlines our continuous growth.
In order to meet the increased requirements, we have expanded our management team:
Steffen Metz is responsible for sales and project management and brings a breath of fresh air and additional expertise to our team.
2023
Introduction Psilk-Cut procedure
With the realization of the “Psilk-Cut” technology, we offer an innovative solution for the slitting of silicone components.
The new procedure enables fully automatic integration into our processes and thus eliminates unnecessary subsequent steps.
2024
Groundbreaking ceremony for new HQ
Another milestone in our young company history will be reached at the end of 2024 with the ground-breaking ceremony for our new headquarters in our home town of Oberthulba.
On a site of approx. 20,000 square meters, a state-of-the-art production hall and well-equipped office space will be created to further promote our growth and innovative strength.
Future
An exciting milestone on our journey is the planned construction of a modern, innovative building. With this step, we are not only sending out a clear signal for our steady growth, but also creating a first-class infrastructure that optimally supports our future ambitions.
The new building will not only mean an expansion of our production capacities, but will also be a lively center for creativity, cooperation and progress.
It will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and provide space for efficient workflows and inspiring ideas. This investment underlines our commitment to investing in the future in order to continue to offer our customers innovative solutions and the highest quality
