Development process

Product development starts with the idea. Our job is to visualize your idea and make it tangible. First, we produce CAD drawings that meet all the requirements necessary for feasibility. The next step is to produce prototypes. Thanks to their cost-effective and rapid implementation, you can get an impression of what the final product will look and feel like. The prototypes are used to clarify all (design) technical parameters before the product meets all the necessary requirements. Finally, detailed initial sample test reports form the basis for series production.

Customer idea

The vision is created. Do you have an idea but no design of your own?
Our 3D / CAD professionals will produce a CAD drawing of your product. Weak points can already be identified and eliminated at this point. Your product is created in your mind's eye - close enough to touch.

Prototyping

You can already hold a concept prototype in your hand and get a feel for the size and feel. Such concept prototypes can be produced quickly and cost-effectively using the vacuum casting process.

1-cavity 0-series tools.

Thanks to the high precision of prototype tools, you can also obtain functional prototypes with the corresponding materials. By using these tools, even small quantities or 0 series can be produced at low cost.

Series mold creation

Once all technical and design parameters have been clarified on the prototype tool, the tool is manufactured for series production. Highly precise and, above all, with the good feeling of having thought of everything. We also develop your prototype and your product.

Test report

After completion of the initial sample parts, you will receive a detailed initial sample test report with standard-compliant information so that nothing stands in the way of series production.

Quality

Quality is our top priority. We rely on strict quality control and assurance at every stage of the manufacturing process to ensure that your silicone molded parts meet the highest standards.

By using state-of-the-art CT scans, we enable an incomparably precise analysis of individual parts and assemblies. Thanks to precise measurements, non-destructive testing methods and comprehensive quality control, we set new standards.

What does the product development process involve?

The product development process at Psilkon starts with the customer's idea, followed by precise 3D/CAD drawings. Prototypes enable tactile feedback, while 1-cavity and 0-series molds enable cost-efficient production.

Once all parameters have been clarified, the series mold is produced and final initial sample test reports guarantee standard-compliant quality for series production.
